About this module
F&B POS Bridge for Protel posts every restaurant, bar, room-service and mini-bar charge from your point-of-sale into the guest folio inside Protel — accurately, in near real time, and with the correct tax and outlet mapping. The bridge integrates with your Protel account via the official Protel API using your Protel Login and supports Micros Simphony, Lightspeed L-Series, Oracle OPERA POS and Vectron.
Items are grouped per check, mapped to a Protel revenue centre of your choice, and posted to the folio with a full check reference so accountants can trace any transaction back to the POS. Voids, comps and split-checks are handled cleanly — nothing is silently dropped. A daily reconciliation email confirms POS totals match posted folio charges for the day.
Sits alongside Protel PMS — your POS remains the source of truth for outlet transactions; Protel remains the source of truth for guest folios. Billed monthly at 34 euro per property, cancel any time. Includes up to three POS instances; additional outlets billed on request.
