About this module
Guest Wi-Fi Sign-On for Protel Login replaces the paper Wi-Fi voucher at the reception desk. A guest arriving at your captive portal enters their surname and room number, the module integrates with your Protel account via the official Protel API using your Protel Login, confirms an active reservation for that combination, and issues a Wi-Fi lease scoped to the length of stay.
Leases are revoked automatically at check-out, freeing up bandwidth caps for the next arrival. Optional tiers offer complimentary throughput for standard bookings and premium throughput for loyalty members or specific rate plans — the routing logic reads the guest's Protel rate code, so no manual work at reception is required. The portal is white-labelled to your brand and supports 14 languages.
Sits alongside Protel PMS — no changes to your existing captive portal or network hardware are required, only a lightweight RADIUS bridge. Compatible with Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus and Cambium Networks. Billed monthly at 12 euro per property, cancel any time.
